Because you beat the Doggie Stylers, the rest of us lost out on a partial 8 mil. cut. My goats won't be getting new thongs, but rather TJ Maxx knockoffs! They're pissed!

Honestly, I think NIU ran out of gas, plain and simple. They have been riding Lynch to victory in the 4th quarter of many of their games, including against us. And when BUGS' defense was good enough to keep him in check, they had no answer. Jimmy Ward is a standout on their defense, but he can't do everything.

I can't know for certain obviously, but I suspect NIU is about to find out just how much that guy meant to their program, similar to us losing LeFevour and Brown. Next season, I mean.

yep, i think NIU is going to fall from their thrown and drop down a bit. West I could see Toledo as 1, I have no clue about no 2 Possibly between BSU, NIU, dare I say CMU?

bigger issue than running out of gas was 2 touchdown passes that didn't even have an NIU defender on screen when the completion was made and another where there was a solid 3 yard halo of clear around the TD catcher and the long non TD that also had no defender on screen when the pass was caught. If the defense plays that game at all, thats 3 TD that don't happen (unless earned from a long drive) rather than pathetic coverage.
