no. how unheard of. everyone else is just ecstatic about their bowl matchups. especially the ecu guys. they're literally rapturous.

Good luck to both teams, but if UNLV thought it was going to play a Pac-12 team and then found out at the last minute it wasn't going to happen, I think Rebel fans would be very disappointed. I think North Texas fans are dealing with that right now.

I thought we would end up getting a PAC 12 school, I guess they didn't want to play UNT. That will change after a couple more winning seasons. I'm not about to start trashing UNLV the way I did UTSA(not you, but I have seen some UNLV & UNT fans do that already) I had enough crow that week to last me for years. Looking forward to the game, and not taking UNLV lightly, can't wait.

$75 ticket to play UNLV? Ugh. I'll still be there, just had my hopes up for something else. At least I think we've got a great shot at winning this game after what I saw of them against Fresno.

This should be an easy victory for UNT. Cotton Bowl on new years day - I know y'all are not former SWC but that is still pretty awesome for the fans who I'm sure given the proximity have been to many Cotton Bowl games and understand the history of that venue on that day. Congrats.
