in scoring at 92 per game according to ESPN? Number6 in shooting percentage. One of fifteen undefeated teams. We play a weak schedule but it sure has been exciting basketball.

Toledo will never have a tough schedule as the Top Schools will not schedule us, especially with TK steering this team down the road of success.

At least none of the "top schools" will come to Savage Arena to play The Rockets. They will always have to travel to play them.
MOB has done a good job scheduling the Cleveland States, Detroits, etc. with home and away games. Traditionally, those schools have had decent teams.
All they have to do is keep winning, that's what they can control right now.

This is still a rebuild people. We cannot go out a schedule the whole Big East and get our face pounded. Lots of young players in their first year together. The Rockets schedule is perfect for the point this program is at. Success does not come overnight. Let's win a MAC championship and get to the Sweet 16 or better and we can start worrying about scheduling Louisvill and Kentucky

We don't have to schedule L-ville and Ky to improve our schedule. Some of these teams were probably thought to be better but Stoney Brooke is the only one with a winning record. Not sure why we can't get a Big Ten team or two though-I see other MAC schools playing NWestern, Purdue, Michigan State- I know we aren't going to bring top teams to Savage (as we used to in both the Field House and Savage) because they hardly play on the road until conference season in many cases, but even a Xavier, Butler or Alabama- teams we've scheduled in recent years would help at least the perception that we're beating people. BC is our best name opponent followed by....Detroit, probably. Believe me, I'm thrilled with what I see on the court but how are we going to fare in the Final Four when we go up against the big boys?

If you look at our schedule, I think many of our opponents this year were conf or divisionsl champs in their respective leagues. I know this year is a new year, but I had seen Stoney Brook penciled in as champs again. RMU was defending champs. Didn't Detroit and Cleve St. compete for top honors last yr? I'd have to researc the schedule more, but maybe some of these teams scheduled us as a creampuff to pad their schedules and are finding otherwise. we'd all love to see a bcs team in our barn, but good luck after this year.

I'll be watching to see how Akkansas St fares against Nebraska in Dec 14th. The Rockets travel to Ark St on the 17th.

In a major upset 6th ranked Kansas lost to Colorado last night on a thrilling last second buzzer beater by Askia Booker. The Rockets travel to Kansas on Dec 30th.

I would think in basketball, close OOC games, preferably wins would mean you've hit scheduling gold? Blow-outs for don't raise the game and blow-outs against probably don't either.
