Once upon a time we had a very proud basketball tradition. I can only get into basketball if it's the Cajuns or Pelicans (Playoffs only) and they have to be good. We had some real fun teams to watch when I was a student in the late 80's. We are building a football tradition. I can watch bad football. I've been a Saints fan all my life. I would love to have both but how many schools have both? It's pretty much your a football or basketball school.
