Two plays...
Many ..many fails during the game but..

1) we recover that onside kick, I say we take it......down 17-13 with the ball at that time....

2) down 31-20, if Brescacin can haul in that long pass... we score..it's 31-27 and BG might be having an oh **** thought...

Man..hurts.... feel for the kids too... much harder to be a player AND a fan of a team with expectations...

Let's win the bowl! 04-cheers

I don't believe we could have done anything to stop their O, our D had some major, major issues. We had no idea what was going on, it looked like could have been the D's first game of the season, everyone pointing line up there, running behind runners, unreal

I am dumbfounded as to what happened, I have no idea. The kicking game, the passing game, the D, it was a flop.

RE: Two plays...
NIU lost by 20 (really 27, that last TD was worthless). You need a lot more than two plays to make up that difference...unless you make the unprovable "momentum" argument, which I clearly don't think much of.

NIU got destroyed last night. Out-coached and out-executed. It happens sometimes.

I noticed on the Ford Field jumbotron around the start of the 3rd Q that ESPN (the Boo-Yah feed was on the jumbrotron) was reshowing the onside kick. Did they go back and determine it was a penalty on NIU or were they just highlighting the foul?
