RE: Things to look forward to
My biggest fear is a lethargic fan base (and team I guess too) for the Bowl Game. We lost a lot last night...we all know it. Now we have to accept the fact, be proud of our team and try to make the bowl game if we can.

Sad thing is for some reason now I am hoping for Pizza Bowl versus Boston College so we can have two heisman finalists (or almost finalists) squared up against each other and a close enough drive for lethargic fans to attend. Otherwise, I hope we don't go to GoDaddy and to another tie in bowl where the other team will bring the fans because unfortunately I don't think our fans are going to travel now.

Nonetheless, everyone needs to try there best to get back on the horse and support this team. Though....this is how I felt last night: 03-puke

Being a fan of a dominant non-AQ reminds me of the game king of the hill. You can be the top dog and fend off everyone for a long time but eventually its a lose lose proposition because someone is going to blind side you and knock you off the hill eventually. The problem with the non-AQ is getting up back on top of the hill once you are knocked off, is a world of work.

Does anyone know when we will find out the bowl game? Someone said Idaho...which is probably the only game I can't make it to. Damn this sucks. Arizona would have been perfect.

I like the helmets though..... Maybe there was a glare from the chrome face masks, which prevented our secondary from seeing the WR's?

Exactly - didn't like them the first time. Put players names on the back. Especially when you have a nationwide audience who doesn't know your team.

+1 or Pitt. I don't want Utah State, not after how we looked last night.

God I am butt hurt right now, I am the biggest Pu$$Y on this board.... with 5 minutes left my 12 year old boy who wears nothing but NIU gear to school, finally teared up and yelled how could our D play like that. College football is a wicked bit$% for sure, the gut punch lives on in Utah today.

I do think NIU can pull their heads out for a bowl game, but now I have serious doubt creeping in from time to time. I am the Huskie Basket Case today....

Agreed. We won't bring fans to any game outside one within driving range. Even then, it may be less than what went to the MACC.

I will not go to any bowl game except the LCPB. Way too much money to spend to possibly get another butt-whipping and feel as I do now. Unless it's Detroit, I'll watch on TV and save a ton of money. Then I can do what I couldn't do last night: turn the game off if we get embarrassed again.

And players having having white T-shirts hanging out of their all-blacks. Bad look.
