RE: Lynch toughed it out but you could tell...
Like I said ALL season if JL has a bad night throwing it's the coaches fault. They needed to manage his passing efficiency by throwing short passes to set up the long ball. We needed to score 48 points yesterday and we weren't even close. We gave plenty of weapons and the coaches did a horrible job of getting it to them. Spence should have been thrown to more. He was balling. Throw middle screens to Cam. Why did we only throw one bubble screen? They couldn't cover everything but we just played right into their hands by throwing 15-20 yard outs which JL hasn't had much success all year... Frustrating. Go five wide and throw the slants, bubbles, seams which are JL's strengths. We needed to score 48 and I feel like we could have gotten it. The read option was there too. JL got most of his rushing yards with it. The coaches set JL up for failure last night. They did a good job most of the year but last night was atrocious. We did nothing to help us win. We helped BG by throwing 15-20 yard outs as their D-line whipped our o-line.

Lynch was definitely not himself but it did not matter. You need to play defense and the defense was MIA.

BG defense average 13.5 points per game..we almost doubled that...despite all the talk about our offense if our defense plays better we would be in the game..
We got exposed

The 10+ minute post-game press conference is on YouTube. Lynch looked/sounded fine. Didn't show ONE sign of being sick.

He was sick. Sick of watching our D get burned.
