Early Arrivials
A new trend among Football and Basketball recruits at Syracuse---almost all of them are coming in and starting school during the summer seasons prior to their freshman year. Is this happening at your schools, too?

A lot of UCONN recruits are already on campus too. I understand CUSE fans are real excited about their basketball recruits and that's great. I am sure the games between UCONN and CUSE on the hardwood would be intense for the next few years. Both of us got bunch of new players and it should be fun.

We also had one of the best recruiting classes in the country. Who knows how they will pend out, but early indication is that we got bunch of very very fast guards that can score. I know CUSE is betting on Paul Harris, so I hope he will turn out to be a great one.

Paul Harris will be a defensive stopper--his outside shot sux. Mike Jones will be a slasher with a nice outside J. The class of 07 is going to really good like UConn's, too. Cuse and UConn will still be beating each other up for several years on the national stage. I wonder who else is going to elevate in the Big East? G-town, UL and Marquette are my guesses.

Same at UC.

They changed the rules allowing recruits to come in during the summer quarter on scholarship now. I'm sure every school is doing this.

Pitt has them on campus now too. Smart move by schools to let them take 2 classes in the summer and they start the year with 6 credits.
