As I pointed out in an earlier post, Willie Meggs is one of the most respected SA's in Fla. He has prosecuted cases against politicians and FSU players in the past. He got the case late and is making sure he has the evidence to convict before he brings charges. Innuendos about holding back until the season is over is baseless by some of the idiot posters on this board. The problem is Erica retained her aunt as attorney and she is family law, I believe, and she did not keep in contact with with Tally police. The accuser is rumored to be part of the cleat chasers (baseball) sorority and the situation is a little more complicated because the other girlfriend (Rice BB player) was supposedly coming to visit Winston so it may have been she was mad because she was about to be dumped. But like I said, I feel Meggs will get it right.

GO HUSKIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just saw Winston's ACC Player of the Year interview. AWKWARD! Said something about how Florida State is a big family and it "takes a village to raise a child." Also, sweet button up with gold chain Jameis.

Jameis will be cleared tomorrow. He is the best player in college football. I love watching Lynch play but what Winston has done this year on the field is unbelievable.

He very well may be cleared. Sounds like something will be definitive. However, it won't help Winston if they come out to make an announcement that they are going to Postpone whether to charge him until January 15th (after bowls are done). :)

One can't assume one's guilty in a he-said-she-said situation like that, especially when the police questioned her accusations -- LAST year, when Winston wasn't a huge star. Now, that doesn't mean she was lying or anything. It just means he could be just as much innocent as he is guilty.

When you don't have the evidence to Claim they are guilty, even of ANYTHING (it'd be one thing if it was deciding on WHAT to charge one with), then it's unfair to call him out as being guilty in other venues.

It'd be one thing if this was about a Trial -- where it's not done yet, but not enough evidence to convict. We're talking about Claiming he is in the first place (charging).

My real problem is them taking so Damn Long and unnecessarily having this controversy! It's been a year! It's like the district attourneys are like a bunch of girls not being able to decide on whether to buy the dress or not! Sheesh!
