Minnesota is vastly improved over recent years and Memphis is getting better. So 3 potentially tough games especially since MT loses more than a few starters.

I would have to agree with you but we get them at home. Memphis is well......Memphis.

RE: MT's 2014 OOC Schedule
If we beat Tiger High next year it will close the series with a 6-1 MT advantage. When the series was originally inked as a five year deal in 2007, most Memphis fans expected a couple of blow outs and a buy out to pursue a more challenging opponent.

On a personal note, their trash talking was what prompted me to register on this network in the first place.

Their savior is starting to lose his luster. Last week's total beatdown at the hands of a terrible Temple squad has him scrimmaging his guys three days this week and threatening to cut his travel roster for the trip to UConn. Scrimmaging in Week 12 is an act of desperation just to make a point. Unfortunately, he's about six weeks too late.

I saw Memphis live twice this season and a couple of times on TV. I thought they looked as good as they looked all year against us in the second game of the season and have regressed since that time.

I watched them beat Ark St. the week after we beat them and that was their most complete team effort on both sides of the football. They went downhill since then, mainly on the offensive side of the ball.

We should be at least 2-2 with wins over Memphis and Savannah State. I think the sellout, home crowd advantage will help with BYU - so I label that as a tossup, as is the Minnesota game since they are not bad.

Agreed. Wide receiver play was hideous and Paxton Lynch definitely regressed.

Heck Dave, I'm hoping the Memphis Athletic Marketing folks are still using the same fireworks vendor next year. That ignernt bunch shot off the fireworks display when Temple scored last week.

It would be awesome if they shot fireworks on our first touchdown.

Since when has a huge crowd been good for MT? They almost always lay an egg when people actually show up.
