The question is back on the table. The top-25 stuff is off (for now at least).

We look to be greatly improved in the frontcourt with skinnyShaq, Nichols, King, Pellom, and Woodson. The guards are very good (but probably not "great") and there are plenty of them.

Honestly this team has a very very high ceiling. It's up to them and the coaches to take it to the level they are capable. Ready to blast the American. UConn and the rest, bring it. F Louisville. Not much better for a team than earned swagger.

Sweet 16 or Elite 8 with a good draw. Who knows. Cut down the nets good with a few breaks.

Loss @ OSU was a aberration in how we played. This team is good enough to get to the Sweet 16/Elite 8 range and possibly more depending on the opponent they would be facing

Really. OK State looked to me like the best team in the country. And then we outplayed them, didn't panic when we were down 10, didn't get loosey goosey, didn't force things and just played great half court ball. We looked like we belonged in the top 15 tonight and like the team we thought we would be. 10 days ago we looked lost, selfish, and unprepared. What a difference!

I think that performance proved the sky is the limit. We can beat anybody if we play our best, and stay focused.

I still think a realistic expectation is S16, but now I think we could get a good seed and draw, and go even farther.

The beauty is that we did this with mostly the vets in the last two games.

Now we have a handful of buy games to work the young Tiger cubs into the mix and get them flowing to add to our depth.

We can beat anybody on a given day, so it's possible we could go as far as the championship. However, right now I'm thinking an Elite 8 is very realistic. Depends on the matchups, obviously, but we have the talent to make a deep run.

Definitely good enough to make the second weekend. Let's just take it one game at a time. An awful lot of talent. If we can get the chemistry needed to be a champion, we certainly have the talent.

We just beat a top 5 team who would have moved into the top 3 had they beat us. Not to mention a Top 40 LSU team the day before who may crack the top 25 in a week or 2 given their schedule. On neutral courts. This team is capable of winning the whole damn thing.

Crazy thing is we still didn't play as good as we could have and that's scary.

I think our guards will come around and start playing like they were hyped. Add that to our productive frontcourt and we have the chance to be a special team.

scary thing is our guards haven't all played to their potential. they've only shown spurts. once we get it all together. watch out.
