Garry Smits says Lynch can't run the ball against BCS AQ teams by bringing up a game that does not have a bearing on this year's results (FSU) while completely ignoring one that does (Iowa). Then he says Fresno would beat NIU because they would light up our defense since a defense can scheme against a running quarterback. Did he see that San Jose State put up SIXTY-TWO points against them? And still has them 15? Seriously, that guy needs his vote revoked.

What makes me mad is a clown like this gets a voice and leaves out actual facts.

"I think if the two teams played, Fresno State would win" is complete BS. Does he suddenly think Ohio State (who barely beat Michigan) would beat Alabama after their miracle loss to Auburn?

Granted, Smits is a moron. But, since the AP poll doesn't count, why waste time contacting him or even worrying about it?

I'm not contacting him or anything, and it doesn't bother me so much since it really doesn't matter in the end. But idiots like him exist in the other polls too, so it's frustrating to see some of their decision making procedures.

He also has Stanford at #5. They have two losses to unranked teams, one of them was Utah! How can you possibly say that makes for a top 5 team, especially when their marquee win (Oregon) doesn't look as good as it did at the time it happened.

In my opinion, a 1 loss Auburn deserves to go over an undefeated OSU, and I think the numbers will play in Auburn's favor if they beat Missouri.
