We have a fantastic band program at UAB that serves over 220 students. Think about this. IF the Alabama fans and media get their way and shut down the football program, our university loses this marching band program. Some of out most loyal alums come out of the Marching Blazers. I'm one of them.

We CANNOT lose football. Period.

Speaking of which, most didn't see this yesterday, but Chris Pallone from NBC13 was there before the game on a witch hunt interviewing fans. I didn't see the broadcast on NBC because I don't have any reason to watch NBC.

Alabama lost!!! That made me feel a hell of a lot better! Thank you, Auburn!!!!

I hate NBC's guts, if they had any as a network. When they cancelled the new version of "Ironside" I was Their overall programming is garbage, and I have nothing for their local, self-aggrandizing affiliate, WVTM-13.

NBC hasn't been anything since the "must see" days

I'm with you. As terrible as they've been on the field, I'd rather have them than not. Kiss me goodbye all the way if the system can and does perpetrate this deed.

Apparently, someone did. Reports of a shooting in Riverchase this weekend leaving one woman dead, of course, the media made it a point to mention that both shooter and victim are alabama fans.

That was his point. No one got killed over the UAB game, but someone did over the Iron bowl.

Just heard about that at work this morning. Damn shame...

Someone got shot in Hoover at an Iron Bowl party. Later details came out that the argument was over a card game and not the football game. Both the victim and the shooter were Alabama fans.

Chris Pallone who is one of the news anchors for NBC was in the stadium prior to the game asking fans questions & there was a camera guy there with him.

I suspect it was a witch hunt against UAB & the crowd or lack of it.

I don't recall seeing him at any other games.

The person was killed because they didn't care enough about Alabama losing & instead cared about the Miami Heat.
