Just noticing today how slow the board is after an embarrassing performance by ECU yesterday. Soon ECU fans won't even be posting here except for a random posts here and there. Are you guys gonna even have any fun without us? Whether you love us, hate us or don't care either way, I think most would at least miss the entertainment value that we provide.

I mean there's just too many of us to ignore. The worst of us will make you hate us but there are enough rational ECU fans to make you sometimes like us even if you don't want to. Either way, there's no denying the fact that this board will never be the same. I will miss the C-USA board and I wish all of you the very best moving forward!04-cheers

Most ECU fans feel fortunate to be on the last boat out of Conf USA. I will miss playing Southern Miss and lots of good memories watching other Conf USA games, plus the Conf was a launching pad for ECU.

Good luck to everyone in the conference. It will be strange to have Cincy and UConn come to play us in basketball and football on a regular basis. Looking forward to playing on ESPN on a regular basis as well. Hope the tv contact for Conf USA is all that you guys want it to be and more.

I hope your dreams of advancing come true for you, but I believe you have taken at the very best a lateral Move. Especially after Louisville leaves you. First chance the others will leave also. Oh well, good luck.

When the WKU fans show up in force, they will make us ECU fans seem mature.

More than anything it will be about playing on ESPN on a regular basis. I have been surprised to see Houston, Memphis and UCF on ESPN so much this year. Next years conference will have even more games on ESPN. The national airtime will be good for ECU recruiting. As far as teams wanting go leave the a AAC, I agree, everyone is trying to get to the BCS. I believe that the AAC puts us closer to that goal. Hopefully Southern Miss will join us one day soon.

If playing on weeknights is what the AAC wants then more power to y'all.

No indication that this us going to be a reality, however, I have no problem being on a ESPN on any day of the week because of the national exposure.

dude, you're gone. why do you care? what's the real purpose for this thread? you want us to burst into tears? sorry, that isn't going to happen. I love ecu, but some of these guys are just unbelievably needy.

the personality, tone, and tenor of the board changed* over a year ago when half the conference left, and was replaced with new teams. after a disruption like that, I doubt anyone will really notice a one-off.

*I said changed; different. nothing more, nothing less.

I think this thread was sarcastic in nature. Having said this, I will miss many of the old conference usa teams and fans

Playing on ESPN? Do you live in a cave? It's not 1997. People watch all channels. The ESPN argument is weak and outdated.

I'd rather have ECU in the conference than not, but far from losing sleep over it.

The second basketball season is over, they should have access to this board revoked. Not even Bonds, but SJ should be gone. Bonds doesn't bother me, he was ripping ECU's ass not ours.

It is going to be a long cold winter if ECU keeps winning.03-lmfao
