Yeah, the timing on all of this is very suspicious. Someone with a team in the BCS hunt, or someone whose team has a Heisman hopeful.

Heisman isn't enough to go this route. Meyer has motive. If FSU falls his team is next in line. He lived in Florida for years.... Coached at one of FSU's primary rivals....knows who to contact in the media in Florida to stoke the fires

These last few accusations smack of an orchestrated smear and will backfire. I stole a entire rib roast at NC State on a dare and broke a window in a dorm at UNC with a rock trying to get a girl's attention at 4 AM.

Don't even get me started about stupid we did in college. Everybody did stupid stuff in college. Now Mr. Winston's are being paraded around for everyone to see.

This guy sounds like he's just having fun. We all played with potato guns in college. It's college. Once I walked out of a department banquet with two whole cases of wine. I wouldn't put it on my resume now, but at the time it was hilarious.

I am amazed at the amount of cover up by officals in a position of authority

How do you guys know there was a cover up and/or Winston is even guilty? I think most people are skeptical about the case due to the details and timing. I posted this in another thread but here is fine too:

I was talking about athletics across the board, like the Stuberville, (sp) Ohio charges now being brought against officials, or the Penn State officials trying to cover up to protect the football program .

As I said it it now part of our culture

It is so much fun watching folks who have likely used the term "conspiracy theorist" to try and demean folks around here, now going about creating their own "conspiracy theory" about all this being caused by Urban.

It does seem like there is a campaign against Winston, no doubt but for folks to once again propagandize that it must be Urban. A whole lot of hypocrisy goes on around here.
