Traditional/Regular Season Championships after week 13 (If there were no divisions)
For most of college football history, the conference champ(s) were crowned by having the best regular season record. Times are changing and most conferences don't do it that way anymore. Still, I like the idea of keeping track of how things look with the old set-up and wish some award for that achievement was set-up.
I'm nicknaming the Big Ten award, the Western Cup in honor of the original nickname for the conference, the Western Conference. If anyone has ideas for the others that go along with their history, feel free to post.
Big Ten Traditional Standing (Western Cup)
Michigan State 7-0
Ohio State 7-0
Both will win at least a share of the title with a win this weekend.
ACC Traditional Standing
Florida State 8-0 (outright champs)
PAC-12 Traditional Standings
Arizona State 7-1
Stanford 7-2
Oregon 6-2
Southern California 6-2
Shockingly given preseason expectations, Arizona State has locked up at least a share of the regular season title. If they lose to Arizona, Stanford will gain a share, as will Oregon and USC with wins.
SEC Non-Division Standings
Alabama 7-0
Auburn 6-1
Missouri 6-1
Alabama is guaranteed at least a share of the title. Auburn still controls their own destiny for at least a share of the title though and Missouri will win a piece if Auburn and them both win this week.
Conference USA Traditional Standings
East Carolina 6-1
Marshall 6-1
Rice 6-1
East Carolina and Marshall play this week. The winner will have at least a share of the title and the looser is out. Rice can win a share by winning this week as well.
Mid-American Conference Traditional Standings
Northern Illinois 8-0 (outright champs)
Mountain West Non-Division Standings
Fresno State 7-0
Utah State 6-1
San Diego State 6-1
Fresno State will win at least a share of the title. San Jose State plays them this week.
Big 12 Standing
Oklahoma State 7-1
Baylor 6-1
Texas 6-1
Oklahoma 6-2
Oklahoma State wins at least a share of the title with a win at Oklahoma as does the winner of the Texas/Baylor game in 2 weeks if they win next week as well. Oklahoma needs to beat Oklahoma State and have the eventual Baylor/Texas winner lose this week.
American Standings
Central Florida 6-0
Cincinnati 6-1
Louisville 6-1
Louisville and Cincinnati play in their final game. UCF wins it outright if they win out. If they lose one, the Louisville/Cincinnati winner will get a piece.
Sun Belt Standings
Louisiana-Lafayette 5-0
Arkansas State 5-1
Louisiana-Lafayette wins at least a share of the title with a win this week and wins it outright with 2 wins. Arkansas State needs ULL to lose one and winout for a share or more.
Full Standings coming in next posts.

RE: Traditional/Regular Season Championships after week 13 (If there were no divisions)
The only thing that annoys me about these conference championships is that the PAC 12, ACC and B1G are all on at the same time and will likely start before the SEC is complete.
You'd think they could schedule a little bit better. Eg., the B1G could start at noon and the PAC 12 at 10PM (EDT). Then you could watch most of all the games.

Had to check that after you wrote. I was thinking the PAC-12 CG was always on Fridays, but that must only be on years its on FOX.
Problem is that everyone wants prime time. The reasons an outdoor venue wasn't choosen for the Big Ten was for that exact reason.

You forgot the WAC!
NMSU 0-0
IDAHO 0-0
winner of the NMSU-Idaho game is the de facto WAC champion

If we are going to use old names, the P12 should be the PCAA, and the ACC should be the Southern Conference.
ACC records are horribly skewed by not including the 1933-1953 Southern Conference Standings. That omits some 12-15 Duke Football and Basketball championships, and about 10 Rose, Sugar, Orange, and Cotton bowl appearances by Duke, Clemson, MD, and UNC and 7 basketball titles by NC State.

Yes, but at least NMSU and Idaho are still members of the WAC this year, even though technically the WAC no longer sponsors football and NMSU & Idaho are called football independents in reality.
I just figured the spirit of this thread lets us imagine they would be playing for the "traditional" WAC title since they are the last 2 football teams left in the WAC.

Why not? They are both one 1-10. May as well call this last game between them for something. The final WAC Championship

You would think that they would considering the conference crapped all over former ACC QBs earlier this week by putting people like Dan Marino, Donovan McNabb, etc. on their "Top 10 ACC QB" list.
