Going to Detroit Update
Just made all my reservations in Detroit for tickets, reception, and hotel.

After calling around a few things I learned:

1. There is once again both an overnight hotel bus package and a come home after the game bus package. The website only says same day bus package.

2. Children under 9 or so are free at the alumni reception

3. The vouchers for the free tickets for STH can be handed into the ticket windows before the game tonight.

4. The website's for ordering for the hotel, tickets, bus, etc. aren't exactly user friendly so I would recommend calling the NIU Sports Travel number. Myself, I called the hotel direct, ticket office, and alumni association seperately to make sure it's not messed up.

My family will once again be driving and will be stopping to see the Kalamazoo mall Santa once again. Hope to see a few of you at the food court again. Hope you will enjoy my son's entertainment as he is learning the Huskie Fight song, but he is still active as ever.

Also would recommend getting everything booked this week before we know the winner of the other division.

Here's an idea, they should be running ads for the tickets reception hotel etc. at least once a quarter at tonights game on that scoreboard. You know the people at the game tonight are the diehards.

For those who dropped of their vouchers yesterday will the tickets for the MACC be available at Will Call at Ford Field?

Yes, that is my understanding.

P.S. I've picked up tickets in Detroit before. Pretty efficient, but some waiting in line to be expected.

We were told our tickets can be picked up at the Marriott. Closer to game time, they can be picked up at will call at Ford.
