RE: Future OOC Opponents for AAC Schools?
For ECU

2014: South Carolina, Virginia Tech, North Carolina
2015: Virginia Tech, West Virginia
2016: North Carolina, NC State, West Virginia, Virginia Tech

A home-and-home with BYU....not sure when.

I'm sure another ECU fan can be more specific.

SMU:

2014: @ Baylor, @ North Texas, Texas A&M, TCU
2015: Baylor, North Texas, @ TCU
2016: @North Texas, @Baylor, TCU
2017: North Texas, @TCU
2018: @North Texas, @Michigan, TCU

Looking forward to that Michigan game. Our AD has expressed that our goal is to play 2 games vs Big12/SEC/BigTeleven programs, and then 2 against G5 schools. These past few years where we open an exciting season with blowout losses to Texas Tech, A&M, TCU, and Baylor are becoming a drag.

Additionally, they are trying to play up the regional opponents. After spending 80 years in a conference with every team in Texas, and then floating around the WAC-16, WAC, and CUSA, we lost a lot of fans that would rather see matchups with alums they work with, etc.

I really hope SMU can fit in some more series with Tech. Would be great to push our streak to 20 games.

Perhaps Tortilla Tech should join the AAC, and play to the level of their competition. . . Couldn't win the old SWC, and can't win in the "little 12"

I'll go back and edit but based off memory Uconn has future home and home series with BYU, Boise state, army, Tennessee, and Virginia coming up.

Damn, we have a nice OOC schedule for the fans. Hope Compher can keep up what Holland was able to do. Stadium size is a large part of that battle so I bet he'll be fine. Sure wish Clemson would quit giving us the cold shoulder. Would also love to play Georgia and Tennessee. I'll keep dreaming.

Yeah I doubt we get Clemson, Tennesse or UGA. It would be nice though. 03-cloud9 They only reason I feel that USC is scheduling us is because they've discovered Havelock high school.

Don't forget New Bern... They won the state championship for their division last year too if I'm not terribly mistaken. We get quality kids out of those schools so big deal if USC wants to come up and poach some. I'd rather lose kids to them than to the Holes and wuffies.

I agree. I just said that because I know Spurrier has plucked a few from Havelock over the past couple of years. If they aren't coming here, better to ship 'em out of state!

RE: Future OOC Opponents for AAC Schools?
Really great that all of these AAC schools have scheduled multiple P5 match-ups each year. Exactly what is needed! I am sure it would be a daunting task, but it would be interesting to see if the MWC's OOC schedule can match-up to the AAC's.
