Incredible lines this week
Can't remember a week when there were this many games between MAC teams with such tremendous odds:

Northern Illinois -35 vs Western Michigan
Ball State -34.5 vs Miami
Central Michigan -18.5 vs Eastern Michigan
Ohio -16.5 vs UMass

Only Toledo -7.5 vs Akron and Bowling Green -1.5 vs Buffalo have more normal odds for MAC games this week.

i'm shocked that CMU is an 18.5 favorite over EMU. Having seen both teams play WMU, EMU appeared to be more talented.

CMU is a lot better than EMU. They just happened to turn it over 5 times against WMU. CMU is in hunt for a bowl while EMU is 2-9.

But I am surprised it's that big of a margin.

Not a big surprise the spreads are so large this week. The closest margin of victory in MAC weeknight games this year was Toledo's 10 point win over Buffalo.

You're in the hunt for a bowl because of your cake schedule...let's be real here. If you played our schedule, you'd have 3 wins going into this game. You got Miami and UMass instead of BG and Buffalo. Much respect to you for winning in Ohio though.

I'm surprised by that spread too. The Chimps don't stop the run very well, and about the only thing we do well is run the ball. I think CMU wins, but I could see a single digit differential.

Conversely, you might be the only team on our schedule with a defense worse than ours - I suppose you could include UMass as well.

I can't see 18.5, though, unless you guys pull the same no-show you pulled last week. That was disgraceful.

Yeah it was bad. Although we did the same thing against Toledo the week before we beat WMU. Who knows with this team. For some reason they get up for the other directional schools, but no one else. Awful year. Can't wait for it to be over with.

Hey, it is what it is. Do I really give a rats a$$ about our schedule? No because it balances out over the years. Maybe if EMU could ever become bowl eligible, you wouldn't have to attack our schedule.
