Big Dom kinda reminds me of Kareem Cooper
This is a good thing. Kareem had a chance but off the court problems led to his downfall.

Seems more aggressive, but I have only seen one game (Nichols St), and he only played mop up minutes in it.

I agree. Both had their problems with conditioning. Both have a good offensive game. Both are agile for their size, and have good hands. As I stated before, Cooper was derailed by off the court issues if I remember correctly. Dom is a bit more aggressive imo.

To me or at least for now until I see some more, he reminds me of Marvin Alexander

More of a mix of Alexander and Zbo. Maybe Corliss Williamson and Zbo.

Cooper had some skills, he wasn't totally raw.

Dom looks more skilled and looks like he has WAY better hands. Much better looking back-to-the-basket game. Also looks quicker getting position, boxing out and rebounding. He looks more natural moving around under the basket. Also looks a lot more aggressive.

Seems to have a nose for the ball and the rim. Moreso than Coop ever showed.

That's a whole lot of differences to my eye. But to each his own.

Let's hope he's more like Dwight Stewart or Oliver Miller than Kareem Cooper!

Both have good footwork and good hands for a big man.

Both had it tough coming up. Both basically abandoned as teens.

Big Dom may be a difference maker come March. I just hope Josh keeps involving all of our bigs like he did last night. I’ve been waiting 4 years to see this and although it wasn’t great, it wasn’t bad either.

I was thinking something similar, that he moves much easier and quicker than Cooper, more fluid.

Dom actually looked pretty well conditioned last night. He got up and down well.

I was actually impressed with how well he ran the floor for his size. And really impressed with his quickness and agility at his size. Easy to see why he was a top 50 recruit at one point.

Not me --- never 'felt' it was "off the court problems" that held Copper back. Just lack of D1 talent. Woodson, right now, looks better than Copper ever did.

I get the Coop comparisons and thought the same thing myself. It's not a knock, just that they appear to have similar skills. Dom seems to have an opportunity to be much better once he gets in game shape. The one thing to be excited about so far is the play of our young guys.
