logo and letters beneath seemed too crowded/distorted/shrunken together for the space ...together they made the proportions of huskie head look oddly shapened to me..

I agree. Never liked the NIU with Huskie head logo.

I agree. Never liked the NIU with Huskie head logo.

I also favor the logo with no NIU on the helmet.

Like it alot. Reminds me of the 2001 helmet with just the huskie, no NIU. Great helmet.

We were overdue for an overhaul. I hope we use these as our staple hats and jerseys. Bring back the OB jerseys as our road jerseys.

They changed the facemasks and new stickers. Not sure how long it takes to do 90 some helmets, so there's a good chance we keep them for the MACC? Like the unis as well.

I would actually prefer if the team wore the classic red jerseys. They may not be the "coolest" but it would be great to have MACC pictures of the team winning in black, white, and red jerseys.

Yeah, I would go with the reds in Detroit as well.

Well they generally tighten up all that stuff the night before the game and retouch stickers.

They also changed stickers from Ball State to Toledo, so they will be good.

I bet they go back to the normal NIU decal for Detroit.

I say wear the normal black uniforms in Detroit, not the reds.

Yup. I am expecting these in Detroit but I would be goo with the red ones too.

For the Fiesta Bowl the B12 team always uses the home jerseys(BCS era)

A Fiesta bowl, I bet Adidas would step up again. They supplied new UNIs for all MAC bowl teams last year. I bet they do it again. Fiesta or not.

I would bet we get special jersey's for a BCS bowl if we make it.

Probably the biggest reason we wear the black unis so much is because the players love 'em.
