How about a thread where the word elite is used correctly?

RE: Elite
Haworth has a great class on how to implement change and quality improvement.

I know a guy that never took that class.

Weeks 3 & 4 of the class they give you a list of things that will not improve quality and discuss why they dont work. This guy I know tried them all! And proved they don't work. Example from the list: slogans.

RE: Elite
Dr. Jennifer Palthe is incredible. I HAVE to get out of my current job and use this MBA.

I was doing a little networking yesterday and talking to a pretty successful Marketing Director in Kalamazoo, and I asked her what she thought of the way WMU is marketing our football program. I said it seems like WMU can't reign in this coach and do appropriate marketing. She absolutely agreed! She said marketing is all about researching your market's behavior/wants/needs and customizing something that fits those things. She said they've done a good job of getting Row The Boat out there, but have done a horrible job reacting and going from there. She said marketers need to learn people's passions, and PJ is forcing his passion down the public's throats. Pretty spot on.

It must be working on the recruiting trail, and is probably a welcome mantra to the many players rehabbing injuries though.
