Future opponent Northeastern is about to play future opponent Charlotte in the Puerto Rico tournament on ESPNU. We play both of these teams on the road.

UMass is up 38-33 on New Mexico at the half.

Cherry is a 5th year Sr transfer from Tulane. He torched us the last time we played Tulane (last year), too.

Maybe tired legs got them more than UAB. Umass didn't beat Nebraska as badly as we did.

But every game is different. Different matchups and intangibles. Umass is solid though.

Looking at scores prior to the tourney, I was more impressed by UMass than New Mexico. They have beaten a good LSU team and boston College.

I think New Mexico will still prove to be a good team. I think they were as tired or more than UAB yesterday. They had to scratch and claw to keep getting back in the game. That takes a lot out of you.

But not to take away from Umass. They are solid.
