Obviously the newbies on this board don't remember the hysteria from nine years ago when Wolfe took the punch to the eye, and the entire board melted down with an entire day of speculation about the subject, before it was acknowledged that Wolfe would not play that night.

And who can forget the discussion of Sam Hurd taking a beer bottle to the head at a party on the eve of the Michigan game. I believe that discussion may have included the first reference to "Shatone's girlfriend".

Everyone needs to lighten up a bit and have a good laugh. Its good for your soul.

Based on responses to this, it is apparent who is having fun with this season and who is not. Those of you who are not, I take great pity on you.

I don't think it wise to post these fabrications. The Ath Dept got calls on the WMU hoax. The board loses credibility.

The WMU forfeit was posted by an WMU fan!

I guess people on this board don't find humor in the Onion.

We didn't lose credibility at all. That was posted by a WMU fan.

Anyone who's on this board regularly knows 7 enjoys being a ****bag and posting stupid stuff like this just to rile people up.

And are you actually saying 7 had credibility to begin with? 03-nutkick

He kids because he was thinking back to the Garrett Wolfe situation in 2004 when Wolfe got punched and sat out the Toledo game which we lost.

The best (or worst) part of both of those is I think they both turned out to be true, didn't they? The Wolfe one obviously was, and then I think I remember reading something about an altercation before the Michigan game.

Anybody who opened this thread and didn't know I was poking fun at the Wolfe/Toledo incident, obviously hasn't been a Huskie fan very long.

In other news I cannot believe that was almost 10 years ago. Anyone remember what bar it happened at?

This post should be reported to a moderator or are they as bad as the idiot who started it? If this happens too often nobody will know truth from fiction.

You need to spend more time around this board if you thought this was real.

Yes I do remember the incident.

There is a fine line between an a-hole needing attention and being funning. Actually, this was far from the latter in how it was done whenyou title a thread "Lynch out tonight" so EVERYONE LOOKS. If people can't figure it out, that is sad.

Also one between commenting/giving advice and being condescending.

Hahaha. You people seriously make it too easy. I put the little dancing banana (HEY HEY) at the bottom of the post to make it clear it was a joke.

Sorry your heart skipped a beat for a minute. You'll be okay ladies, I swear.

So I suppose everybody who was fooled should spend more time on the board? Really stupid logic.

Keep justifying it, cus you are getting the attention you need baby. Go get a bottle of milk and a cookie and next time instead, and think before you post. I've said too much already, as others have. No matter what you post, someone will agree, no matter how stupid. Some just don't want to offend you and don't want to encurage you. Some feel sorry too I am sure. THAT'S REALITY.
