They can say they're "espoused." Who objects to that?

Sounds like internet marriage. Add an h or sh where needed. Hespoused. Or Shespoused.

If there is no God, then we are nothing but animals. Animals eat, reproduce and die. Homosexuals would just eat and die. If we are nothing but animals, then homosexuality is an abnormality. If you say you are born that way, I ask, are schizophrenics born that way? Do we try to treat that abnormality? Of course we do. It is an abnormal lifestyle. It is a violation of your physical body.

Are you actually interested in learning where and how you're wrong? Honest question, because if you're not, I won't waste my time. However, if you are actually interested in furthering your knowledge base, I'll more than gladly break this down in a well sourced and easy to understand post.

Personally, I think the majority of people who are active homosexuals were born with an attraction to the same sex. I don't think the majority "choose" to what sex they're going to be attracted. And I think the majority can't be "changed" to not want to be attracted to the same sex. And I also think there are exceptions that are in the minority.
With that said, FWIW I'd appreciate hearing (and promise not to be argumentative on any points not "provable", but also hopefully having your permission and freedom to disagree with any valid evidence, and/or will be willingly sure to agree if no evidence is valid that I can find to say so) about anythjing you have to say on this issue.

Sigh. People still think it's a choice?.... I always figured common sense would be the contrary. Just ask yourself if you could suddenly flip a switch of attraction. I highly doubt you would. Same goes for a homosexual.

Most can't change their attraction preference by gender. But not all. There many examples of flips/switches of gender attraction. Evidently some people (even if representing the minority) can flip that switch given the right time/circumstances.

Which would make them bi sexual... no?

No.
Not from my understanding of what bisexual means. I was talking about folks where the switch stays flipped.

There is ZERO credible science saying otherwise. The gay decision is not genetic.

The problem is that it just can't be "proven" either way. Kinda like the chicken and the egg... You're going to have people believe about this what they want. And evidence for and against both sides.

People are born as males so they can mate with females, have kids, and the cycle repeats itself. For that reason alone, it's how we all got here today. Wanting to mate is instinctive which is why people get horny. What's the point of a gay guy getting horny if he is wired to like something he has zero chance of mating with?
If, like some people have said, that people are born to be gay, then doesn't it stand to reason that they'd also be born with no urges to mate since they can't? If a person is born with no instinct to perpetuate his kind, then wouldn't you classify that as abnormal instead of normal?

Do you have any idea what the body of literature on this subject says?

How about the body part that wants to mate? Wouldn't genetically being gay mean that a person would also genetically not want to mate since he can't? But gays are some of the most horny people around.

From when? The vast majority of literature refutes your viewpoint. In fact, almost everything from the Bible to about 1990 refutes it.

What viewpoint? And what literature? You probably haven't even read a credible study on the subject.

Neither does a man getting off by popping balloons. But it happens, no matter how strange it is.
