MyBB Future Basketball Blazers
Figured I would put this stuff in its own thread. I'll try to post game results, stats, and anything else related to our signing class here.

Hewitt-Trussville rallies to top Center Point 56-52 Hewitt trailed 39-34 going into the 4th and was down 3 with 1:34 left and ends up winning 56-52. Jarvis Calhoun scored 10 of his 18 in the 4th quarter. Hewitt turns around and hosts Pinson tonight at 7:30.

I believe Dallas County beat Stanhope Elmore 62-28 last night. I haven't seen any stats for Ha Ha yet but here's a couple of tweets from a TV guy that was there:

Kirk Nawrotzky ‏@KirkNawrotzky 15h

Lost track of 1st quarter dunks from William Lee. That's the polite way of saying there were a lot.

Kirk Nawrotzky ‏@KirkNawrotzky 13h

Dunks, dunks and more dunks tonight on @ALNewsNetwork. You can thank @Haha34lee1 for the highlights. No trampoline needed.

Id like to go to that Steel City Classic. Not too interested in driving to T-town for a game, though.

Nice shooting form on the FT. Maybe he's not just pure athletic talent.

He's a good athlete also has a very skilled game for the HS level. can dribble drive, can shoot from outside and midrange. Very comfortable facing the basket.

I know we just have video against HS level competition to look at, but I'm trying to remember the last time we had a guy as athletic and long as Lee. Delaney was a big time athlete, but not as long. I guess Sharpe might be close, but Sharpe seemed lazy at times. Lee seems like he has a mentality of domination.

Than Sharpe and Lee, yes. But Elijah Millsap is the closest we've had to Lee (since Millsap, anyway). He was athletic and long and had a great wingspan.

Is the coaching staff still the ones recording his blocks or whatever ridiculous thing they said in one of those articles about him?

That stat line is insane but not that different than his average. I think he is probably even rated a little lower than he should be. You don't often see guys with his athleticism that play so well on both sides of the ball.
