Chicago Tribune: “Stop Digging And Start Over”, Repeal Obamacare
[Image: 6l37.jpg]

Great line—”Obama doesn’t want to reopen this law for fear that Republicans and some Democrats will substantially rewrite it. But that’s what has to happen.”

When even your hometown newspaper throws you under the bus and says bail on this broken law, perhaps you should listen…

As Friday dawns, here’s what a health insurance crisis looks like to many millions of Americans: Barely six weeks shy of 2014, they do not know whether they will have medical coverage Jan. 1. Or which hospitals and doctors they might patronize. Or what they may pay to protect themselves and their families against the chance of medical and financial catastrophe. How much, that is, they may pay in order to satisfy the Democratic politicians and federal bureaucrats who are worsening a metastasizing health coverage fiasco.

For perhaps 5 million of those Americans thus far — estimates vary — the Washington-ordered cancellation of their policies is especially maddening. In the past these people took responsibility for their coverage and bought policies that balanced their needs, finances and personal choices. Congress and President Barack Obama, by enacting the Affordable Care Act, in effect ordered insurers to dismantle many of those individual plans — and cancel those policies.

Obama could be lectured by the burning bush about how wrong he is on Obamacare, but he will never, ever change its core or let it be rewritten by more responsible people because it as his name on it and he can't have hs name associated with failure.

There have been several. Main plan is to get rid of Obamacare first.

The stench of his lie about keeping your healthcare will not go away. (remember the WMD lie... case closed) I agree with the policy & favor the minimum standards put in place by the ACA but not the deception. He could have easily added an acceptable caveat .
The president has been on the moral high ground for the great majority of his administration and I am sad to see him throw it all away. He may do wonderful things but his legions of detractors will always bring to remembrance this lie.
P.S. I don't appreciate it either.

He's been nothing but a lying SOB since day one. It's nice to see him finally get caught in one of his lies. And of course he's trying to get out by telling more lies--the only way he knows.

We can only hope that this will wake up the American people to the massive fraud that has been perpetrated upon them.

He's a cross between Chance the Gardener and a Chicago street hustler. And he's been hustling the citizens of this country.

No, and I've never said that, just the opposite as a matter of fact.

So don't go deflecting by putting words in my mouth.

What I've said all along is that he was lying about Obamacare because it wasn't possible. Now we are starting to find out that yes, he did indeed lie.

Please tell us why 60 year old women need maternity and contraceptives. Please tell us what right the government has to tell us that what we as individuals decided to purchase from private businesses is insufficient?

An acceptable caveat? Why not just say he shouldn't have lied about it? Why not just admit that passing it without reading it was a deceptive tactic because there is no way most democratic legislators could have passed it if they knew exactly what was in it to start with?

Moral high ground??? The ends do not justify the means. That has been this man's entire political strategy since day one. Please tell me why you hold him in such high moral regard?

Guess someone could believe that....if they are five years old and believe in the Easter Bunny.

Agreed. Hillary, John Kerry, Pelosi and Rockefaller and countless other dims perpetuated that lie as well as this one on Zero care. Do their deceits know no limits?

This president has been acting as if he has some moral high ground, yet I would challenge you leftists to point to exactly what basis there is for that? What is his remarkable success? Cash for clunkers? Green energy?

What other "wonderful things" can anyone point to? smdh.

Hard to believe how little will be done within 8 years of this country.
Thanks Barry.
