RE: Latest info
Sorry guys. I've been away longer than I thought. Alright, here is the scoop. I haven't been able to set aside nearly as much time as I could getting this info ready for you guys to read. It's been real busy at work. I have a number of deals I've had to close so I've been traveling a lot. The great news is that I've been able to get two deals closed this week so far. It was pretty awesome. Some of the negotiations for the contracts were brutal. But in the end, both deals are pretty good for me and the company. They were both pretty fair for both sides, which I think is cool. I truly love my job. I enjoy the haggling and the nuances of reading the room and trying to determine how to approach the audience in front of me in order to seal the deal. No two projects are alike. Each one is unique unto itself. It's like going to the hospital and seeing your child born and holding him/her in your arms for the very first time. A wonderful, and special experience. If you've never had kids, you are missing out. My kids are great. Each one has a unique perspective about how the world works and what each wants out of life. It's amazing to see this little person grow up in front of your eyes. Seeing each one learn by doing is so much fun. Well, I gotta leave the house again to catch a plane. I'm flying out tonight to Brussels. I'll be staying the weekend after my meetings are over. I don't know the city very well, and I'm embarrassed to admit that I've never been to Brussels before. So it will be an interesting experience.

That's it for now. More to come soon.

Unfortunately, the powers that be read this thread before I did and they forbid me from giving the corresponding code key in order to allow you folks to truly know what Miko was telling you.

Sorry guys. These people are no joke.

RE: Latest info
Just checking in so that you guys know that I made it safe and sound over here. I'm gassed from a long day of work, so I'm going to bed real soon. Just wanted to chime int to say that I'll be getting you that info real soon. I also made great progress on the project I'm working on over here. So stay safe everyone and please feel free to ask my to explain any of the info I provided to you so far concerning news about the P5. I've been running around so much and putting in such long hours lately that I honestly forgot what P5 insider info I provided in this thread. LOL, my vacation can't come soon enough.

Good night all. Will check back in as soon as I can.

RE: Latest info
All I can tell you guys is that to expect changes in the P5 in the near future. One of the things I was told was that there will be some movement within the P5. Now what that means exactly is unclear at this time. This may simply refer to changes in school admins, coaches or the movement of teams to other conferences. It's also possible that one or more G5 school may be moving to a P5 conference, but that idea looks remote due to the lack of value that a G5 school can generate for a P5 conference to pull the trigger. More to come as soon as I can get it to you.

I can guarantee you that next year Rutgers and Maryland will move to the B1G and Louisville to the ACC. There you have it. The cat is out of the bag.

Really need to create a MIKO BOARD where MIKO can check in and post to himself.

Post 1 MIKO: "Hi, how are you, I've got great news"

Post 2 MIKO: "I'm doing good and what's this great news"

Post 3 MIKO: "I've got my own board"

Post 4 MIKO: "Really, me too"

Post 5 MIKO........................................

Post 6 MIKO........................................

I wonder if he ever gives himself negative feedback.
