Watching his highlights, my primary thought was that it would be difficult for him to run the floor at a hectic pace. Still would've loved to have had him, but not heartbroken over it

Yes, from watching his highlights, it is quite noticable that he makes a bee line down the center of the court(the shortest distance from one end to the other), to make up for his lack of speed.
