Had some free time before lunch today, so I did some pass yardage allowed research for UNC... (by opponent)

South Carolina - 178yds
Middle Tennessee - 243yds
Georgia Tech - 104yds
East Carolina - 376yds
Virginia Tech - 293yds
Miami (FL) - 322yds
Boston College - 59yds
NC State - 176yds
Virginia - 204yds
Pitt - 313yds

UNC has been stout against the pass when facing run-first teams, as seen in the GT and BC games. I think NCST and SCAR are fairly balanced, but both leaned towards the rush in those games. Against everyone else, it appears that they had a bit of trouble stopping the pass. Our friends down in Greenville torched their secondary and won big.

Feel free to contribute your own analysis.

If we cannot run the ball, I'm afraid that I will see much of the same thing I saw at Byrd Stadium. However if we can get it going early like we did at Pitt, they may be in trouble.

How is that for a full and complete analysis?

After seeing them play against MTSU, I think we got a shot even in a FCS year.

Rumors of David Washington seeing the field this game.

Last time we played a big FBS school, Wilder gave us Antonio Vaughn as running back. What will it be this weekend?

DW does provide an excellent "scout" team look for Marquise Williams. UNC does not run the ball well, 3.3 average for the season. If the D can keep that in check they have a great chance. If UNC runs for 150 or more then it's going to be a LONG afternoon.

After watching our Liberty game, I fully expect UNC to be able to run the ball.

Liberty or Campbell? Bc Liberty ran for under 3 yards per carry. Campbell ran for 3.1 yards per carry.

Thinking about DW. Maybe have him come in to run the ball a few times (think wildcat), then to step back and throw a deep one later in the game.

Going into this year we heard a lot about DW seeing playing time during game
He is too talented to be sitting on the sideline holding a clip board
If any of the other current QBs or in coming recruits live up to there billing
I see him playing in a different position next year.
