When the G7 Conference was held at Rice, there was a roll of red carpet left unattended on the sidewalk. I thought a piece would make a cool souvenir, but didn't have the nerve to actually try to take one.

One thing I have from my Rice days, but not from Rice is a chainsaw owl I bought on the side of 59 between Houston and home.

Mrs. Big was on the shirt commemorating the 1999 sweep, as she was one of the bikers and they opted to use a photo of her!

I was there in the 80's when we swept twice...

I just remembered that I have a framed, full-size copy of one of the original architectural plan sheets for Lovett Hall. The originals are on linen. My copy is just a paper copy.
