This has the makings of a Butler / Gonzaga type era in UAB MBB (which may alarm the guys 60 miles to the west who are not accustomed to quality instate competition).

Lee said the distance from home made UAB the choice over SMU. Alabama was third on his list.

I wouldn't think this would be Calhoun or Sullivan because Lee has known them for some time.

2 spots left, Plenty to choose from as well. Don't count on the Alabama commitments to remain committed.
