Nope not me. Have the mods do an IP check and I would bet it comes back to the other guy posing as a Tech fan, Jeffraider or rote kappele or something like that.

Tortilla Tech pls go.

Tech is on a 3 game losing streak, the trolls are out if full force.

The last 3 weeks have been tough but no doubt better days are ahead.

Not that you care but the "Tech" fan is really a Houston fans trying to make Tech look bad.

Maybe it is just me, but I have always thought all of these Tech posters were the same guy. No way do that many people post the same stuff over and over again.

Second, I have never seen a collection of fans of a P5 school obsess about a G5 school the way Tech fan does Houston. Cincinnati fans deal with it occasionally from Ohio State fans, but other than one or two loons on another board I am not aware of their fans stalking every message board to take a shot at us.

It isn't just Tech. A&M, Baylor and Texas fans can't stand Houston either. At least Tech has the nads to play Houston. We played in 2009 & 2010 and 4 games scheduled in the future. Since the break up of the SWC, UT has played Houston 3 times. After bleachergate, Texas will probably never play Houston again. They know Rice will 2 for 1 with the Rice home game at Reliant. A&M and Baylor have both said thanks, but NO Thanks to UH since the break up of the SWC.

Texas is a big state with lots of hate for others schools in this state.

Always an excuse, the weather, stadium is 5 miles from campus, the opponent, kids soccer/football/t-ball game or the latest harry potter is plying at the ultra hip cool cineplex. 04-cheers

Surely you aren't bragging about SMU basketball. It's been 20 years since you made the tournament. During that same period you have 1 NIT appearance 13 years ago. 03-lmfao

Houston's Nov. 23 game against @GoBEARCATS has been moved to BBVA Compass Stadium. Was originally set for Rice Stadium

WTF

Smart.

UH doesn't need a huge stadium like the one at Rice.

BBVA only seats 22,000...yet the last game UH played there maybe 40%-50% of the seats were used.

We sold out every game out with Case at QB and we had that 13-1 season in old Robertson stadium, capacity 32k plus. Another thing I went to UH during the heydays as you call them in the 70's, average attendance was in the 45k's, in the Dome which held just over 52K not bad even by today's standards. Won't make any excuses for poor attendance at games this year (official tickets sold for the Memphis game was 20,103 maybe about 12-14k showed up, but a least they bought tickets, we'll take the money thank you very much, why they didn't show up, such is life in a big city, who knows ). We are like gypsies moving around to different venues within our city, until the new stadium is built.

There is no way a game gets moved on this short of notice without one of the party's being in breach. I will be curious to see if anyone ends up having to pay a penalty.

UH had one season over 40k average attendance. UH had better attendance in the SWC due to having only a couple home games combined with automatic sell outs against UT/A&M/Tech and lots of help from the other Texas teams. Once UH got over the excitement of being in the SWC then you were just left with the fans other Texas schools could bring.

My point talking about 2011 is there is a big difference between giving away/selling dirt cheap 30k tickets per game and having 30k people in the stadium every game. UH had maybe one or two legitimate sell outs outs that year.

OK darn it! Just go ahead and sue us for not having enough fannies in the seats, according to to the world of blumpkin. But we still have a better win loss against Tech even if we had just one fan in the seats. :-O

I would think that both UC and the AAC Conference would have had to agree to the move of stadium venue for the game.

UH is what it is which is a commuter school where no one cares about football. Anyone that cares about college athletics goes to UT, A&M, or Tech.

Lol. Tech was never a sell out in Houston during the old SWC days . Tech was terrible and was an automatic win at home. There were zero Tech fans in Houston. In fact, back then their home attendance wasn't all that much different from one another. Once it became obciois we being left behind and doomed to a lesser league our attendance dropped off badly. From the 1990 or so to the early 2000's was the worst period of Houston football. It was essentially a lost generation of fans. Terrible leadership in tha time. We are still paying for that time when we were horrible and played teams people in the area were completely unfamiliar with. Literally a lost decade.
