Traditional Championships after week 11 (If there were no divisions)
For most of college football history, the conference champ(s) were crowned by having the best regular season record. Times are changing and most conferences don't do it that way anymore. Still, I like the idea of keeping track of how things look with the old set-up and setting up some award for that achievement still.

I'm nicknaming the Big Ten award, the Western Cup in honor of the original nickname for the conference, the Western Conference. If anyone has ideas for the others that go along with their history, feel free to post.

RE: Traditional Championships after week 11 (If there were no divisions)
Conferences Races:

ACC: Florida State has clinched at least a share of the ACC title. If they beat Syracuse next week, they win it outright.

Big Ten: Ohio State and Michigan State both control their own destiny and do not play each other so can finish unbeaten both as co-champs. Nebraska plays Michigan State next week so can control their own destiny with an Ohio State loss.

PAC-12: Arizona State, Oregon, and Stanford are all tied and there are no more games between them. In the old set-up Stanford would control their Rose Bowl destiny by virtue of head to head victories over both Oregon and Arizona State.

SEC: Alabama leads, but Auburn still controls its destiny and will get at least a share if they win outright.

Big 12 (real standing): Texas and Baylor and tied and end the year together. Probably more relevant is the fact that Oklahoma State is one game behind the two and plays both still.

American (real standings): None of the 1 loss teams play Central Florida (again in most cases) and thus UCF alone controls their own conference fate.

Conference USA: 4 1 loss teams, lots of room for championships here.

MAC: Ball State and Northern Illinois do still play, but they do not play Buffalo.

Mountain West: Fresno State alone control own destiny.

Sun Belt (real standings): Louisiana-Lafayette has a 1 game lead and has already Arkansas State. No one else is within 1 game.
