All must be lost if they're throwing to Nolen.

Adding insult to injury: Usually money Ty Long misses a 37 yarder.

And why did McGee decide to kick instead of going for the TD?

Defense. If McGee wants to keep his job he better put all he's got into figuring out a solution for our defense in the offseason.

What is it when the opposing team has to kick the ball since they didn't get a first down?

PUNT!!!

Our defense is indescribable. Gary Sanders would get at least 50 yards on our defense.

What has happened in the past ten years?

Most of those players wouldn't be on the team with the academic standards we use today

That may be true, however, we can change our fortunes if we prioritize defense. There are still good defensive players out there that could qualify. And certainly I think there are better defensive coaches out there. I think McGee is so offense-minded that he doesn't realize that defense is where it's at. Actually, most folks these days seem to focus on offense.

It's no secret that some of our better years in football occurred in the days of the Steel Shield. It's a shame to see how far we have fallen with respect to defense.
