We haven't had a good crowd in 15 years. NIU is NOT a basketball school

Yes, NIU is a bball school. It is no difgferent than any other school in Illinois. We just haven't had a good team. Maybe one decent year since the convo opened. We have a chance this year. We can score which has been our problem. If and it doesn't seem possible, but shoot 70% from the line and we will be alright.

Went to the game with for people and had a very good time.the team is much better than last year and really think they could be good once this team begins to gel.

I just got back. Good game, except for the free throw shooting. 3 pt shooting for both teams was bad. Reffing was bad for both teams-too ticky tack. We were in the bonus with less than 5 minutes gone in the 2nd half.


Did anyone hear what happened to Omaha player who was carted off? I didn't see him moving. Pretty scary.

I overheard Christian Spears saying he got poked in the eye. I don't know but it seems worse than that

Get used to the ref'ing being like that. The new rule is brutal. You cannot touch offensive players anymore. Games are now a free throw contest....the worst kind of basketball.
