Because fans would jump out of buildings if they lost to 2 CUSA teams in the same year.

Theyre scared of UC not because theyre afraid of losing a game, but because they dont want to lose a fan base and recruits. The same way they dont want to play Louisville, but they were forced by the governor to play them. Their program is a joke.

Well GDAWG I partly agree with ya! UK does have one of the toughest schedules in the country, but honestly in football jarr has a point. UK doesn't want hard OOC games due to its hard schedule, so is that being scared or smart on their part....I dont know and I aint trying to start a flame post either. I already get enough #$% from CAT fans as it is! I do have to admit UK fans born in Louisville are funny to listen too. Everyone in the state of Kentucky outside of Louisville hates Louisville and everything about it (and in it), so its funny to hear Louisvillians (UK fans) bashing Louisville because folks in Lexington still hate them even if they are Cat fans......ROFLMAO! Watch out though Kitties, "Little brother" is drinking milk!

I made this mistake before with jarr, but I think in above post he is refering to football. Everyone knows that UK is one of the elite in basketball and that they dont want to play UofL or Cinci. because they have alot to lose and nothing to really gain by playing them, so why take the chance of losing to good UC and UofL programs. In football UK is looking for easy wins in OOC games because there is no easy wins in their conference outside Vandy anyway! Theres the real answers UC fans!

I agree about Cote, but come on jarr. UK in hoops, you got to give them their props! One of the all time best NCAA teams in history. Believe me its hard to say such things being a Cardinal fan with all the nasty Wildcat fans out there, but facts are facts. Now in football I am with ya!

What baffles me is why UK is willing to come up to Cincinnati once every (i think) basketball season to play a game at the US Bank Arena (against mostly less-accomplished teams) but still somehow manange to not play UC (or even Xavier for that matter) even once in who knows how long. 03-confused
Don't you agree it would be an exciting match up? There're plenty of Wildcat fans in Northern Ky. (that's why UK come up to play here anyways), and if the two teams play each other at US Bank, then it really would be a neutral site, kind of like the UofL vs. Cincy conference tournament game earlier in March, the atmosphere was absolutely electrifying. Seems to me that it'll be a guaranteed sold out game every time out, with tons of merchandise sales, promotions, and sponsors for sure. It is entertaining for the fans from both schools, and a good rpi game for either's non-conference schedule. What is there to lose, besides the game for one team? Please enlighten me, UK fans. And please don't give me lame excuses about you already playing a tough enough schedule, because as far as I know I am not aware that UK has a continuing contract with ALL of your OCC opponents. So you can arguably replace one of your tougher OCC opponents with UC (I'm not saying to do this every year, although that could be cool, but just once every so often would do for me), then you'll still have some leeway to play your share of crappy teams at home if ya want......

There are many reasons why Kentucky is afraid to play us. one Because Tubby and Bobby are best friends, and another reason is that in 1990, when UC last played Kentucky we lost to them by a few points, and now in the present, UK is afraid to lose to 2 C-USA teams, and because their fans would complain a lot if they lost to Ciny, becuase everyone in Big Blue Nation, knows that My BearCats can beat anyone, anywhere, anytime
