Not one single comment on the UVA board crediting us for annihilating them last night.

I don't think this is a vintage UVA team by any means, but conversely, I think this JMU team is going to be really, really good. And we deserve all the credit for giving them a beat down because we are just flat out better than them by a longshot this year

After the first few minutes where the women were able to get rid of the cobwebs, it was a fun fun game to watch. Loved the intensity for almost the entire game, loved how they did not get frustrated at the slow start and of course loved the outcome. The crowd was amazing...especially for the first game of the season. Hope all of those folks come back for the rest of the season. Kudos to the women for a great start to the season.

Great game, great crowd, awesome work by a huge Pep band.

Thought Kirby, Nicky, Toia, Destiny, Jazmon, Precious and Muff had solid games.

Lady looked a bit rusty so it will probably take a few games to knock the cobwebs off.

Great effort on D by all the Ladies, really stuffed anything UVa tried to do.

Hope the ladies can keep up the intensity going forward.

Only a few members of the pep band showed up:

If you look in the above picture I am sitting just to the left of the band in the top row with the baseball hat on. Wife and younger daughter next to me. My ears were ringing for quite a while after the game ended, the Pep band was fabulous!!

Kinda missed the UVa fan from the WNIT two years ago hectoring the Pep band. Guess he decided not to show or kept quiet!! One badgers the Pep band at their own risk!!

Typical. Yet seriously, what's in it for UVA, except more beat downs?

Looking at the ESPN Hoops projected recruitment of top 100 players for the next three years, UVA has some impressive verbals, and JMU is no where to be found. KB is an excellent recruiter, but this has me concerned.

The sooner JMU builds its new Convo, the sooner the JPC and the label "UVA" will fade as a recruiting advantage. With JMU's WBB record of success, and a new arena, once KB gets a prospective top 100 player on campus JMU will win the vast majority of those head-to-head recruitment battles. I look forward to the day when UVA will come begging to play JMU and we'll punt 'em back to C'Ville like a bowl of Cotti.

After the Lady Dukes winning four of the last six meetings, I was wondering if the series would be extended.

Had a feeling that UVa would walk.

Kinda sad actually, they were all good games, I looked forward to the matchups.
