The Collegian just tweeted that softball coach resigned. Hope it wasn't anything embarrassing like Coach Hadsell. Might be that she's simply not good. Which is true.

I confess that I haven't followed softball since Cheryl Sprangel left for UVA and the program faded (Sprangel had them finish 7th in the NCAAs one year) but while the current coach's won-loss record is certainly not that great, it is still an odd time to resign.
