After the game last night, after we blow a 21 point lead in the 4th quarter, after our students had bailed and the fans had bailed in the 3rd quarter because it was cold, after one of the most gut wrenching losses in school history, our band went out and played for 20 minutes like it was a celebration. Nothing like providing a soundtrack to the Blue Hen Party. I guess we can tell that a Arts Lady is running the show on campus now.

I'm off on a business trip and about to board the red-eye for the West Coast. I am logging off until Friday when I get back into town for the start of basketball season.

The band has been doing that for 3 years at least. Let's blame the band too.

How about sitting in a box where you can't cheer and have to hold in things internally when the entire Delaware coaching staff that sits upstairs started screaming and cheering going bat-S after the win. I've been doing this for nearly 25 years and while they deserve the win and celebration, I've never heard or seen anything more obnoxious.

Of course on the other end, Jammer was about ready to break a door.
