That is fine with me, I just want to see Lynch get invited to New York as a finalist.

Ya know, I heard someone on ESPN point out last week that the Heisman field is SOOO much deeper this year. I hadn't thought about it until they mentioned it, but it's true. There were 2 defensive players in the top 6 last year. This year is stacked and the large field of front runners are all playing well. All things being equal it's tougher for Jordan this year because of that. However, last year he was a complete unknown coming into the season. This year he's had all the pub all year long.
It would be awesome if he gets invited to NY, but I just don't see how it could happen. He will not be anywhere near Mariotta, Winston or Manziel in votes. Even though there's a month left, I don't see how anyone besides those 3 will get invited.

ESPN Gmaeplan
Heard Tim Brando say that he was voting lunch #3 because he always votes for the player he wants to see in NYC

I'd just like to see Lynch get some credit, personally. After two years of being a badass, letting him wear a suit while an award he can't win gets passed out doesn't feel like much, but at least people would have to say "Yeah, he's good."

Our recruiters would make sure anyone they talk to remembers it.

RE: ESPN Gmaeplan
Yeah, unless Lynch is Crushing BSU, Toledo(, WMU), and Buffalo averaging over 150 yards rushing in each game with a 65%+ passing averaging over 250 passing -- I don't see him as a finalist.
He'll just be mentioned in particular sound bytes as those who are considered but won't be going.
If NIU was doing all this and they were in the Big Ten on their way to 13-0 to win the b10 championship -- yah -- he wouldn't be a finalist but pretty much squeezed in among the top 3.
