No we don't own the shape, but the logo we do and the intellectual property. They need to have three things different. They don't. Let me show you,
UNC's, there are two, first the old one, UNC in the the silhouette of the state colored blue, not the silhouette, the outer banks are missing.
Today, the outer banks are now there, but not a accurate "real" shape of the state showing the outer banks and the sounds.
Now, ECU's, it's a silhouette of the state accurately depicting the outer banks and sounds, with the Jolly Roger logo imposed inside, with the blank areas colored black.
Now, NCSU, it's a silhouette of the state colored red with the wolf head logo imposed inside, but note the silhouette. It's the same as ECU, accurately depicting the outer banks and sounds. They only changed two thing from ECU's design, that is Copy Righted.
