No team is leaving any conference Big Six. The ACC and SEC have the number of teams that they want and the Big Ten only wants Notre Dame.

While it would be nice to keep everyone in their places, to say that everyone in the Big Six does not want to move is just ignoring reality. Fact: Arkansas misses games with Texas and Texas A&M. Fact: Clemson feels like it has nothing in common with UNC, NC State, DU, UVa, and Maryland. These are two teams in the Big Six conferences that I can think of that might consider moving. WVU also would jump at an SEC invitation, if one ever came up. I really and truly hope that Arkansas stays, but one never knows what might happen.

Eastern Athletic Conference- July 1, 2010

North Division
Connecticut
Pittsburgh
Rutgers
Syracuse
Temple
West Virginia

South Division
Central Florida
Cincinnati
East Carolina
Louisville
Memphis
South Florida

The above is both ECU's and Memphis' only chance for BCS money and big time college athletics. I hope it happens.

I dont see Clemson jumping ship. the ACC destroyed its principles and tradition for football, and clemson is a football school.

It's funny seeing people beg to get into the SEC and the Big East. Some of the same people who are trashing the Big East are the same ones who are dreaming of ways to get into the conference or want to get into the conference. By the way, the Big East is holding up pretty good. When the polls come out they should have a Top 15 team in all the major polls (AP, Coaches, Harris and BCS) and a 2nd team ranked in the Top 20 or 25 in the same polls. And another team or two receiving Top 25 votes! 04-cheers

I don't give a crap anymore. You elitist snobs in the Big East don't want anything to do with Memphis and Southern Miss. When the split happens, the powers that be will pick UCF, ECU, Temple and probably some other northeastern/midwestern school. Best of luck to you, you will need it.
