Using foul language is like wearing suspenders with a belt.

I say censoring is a GREAT idea. Those who cannot articulate themselves without a string of profanity really don't have anything of value to say. Cuss words take away from the content of the message. That said I think the verbal assault area could be a little more open if people prefer to have to sift through profanity to see what the real message is.

You can turn them off. I currently don't see anyone's sig.

I don't understand the business about the plane. It's his point of view. When we let our gaurd down we have barbarians at our gate. The ones where Obama was Hitler were offensive but a plane to a building on 9-11. I don't see the problem.

A gate is a guard… your analogy is remarkably convoluted.

Fair enough.

But lowering your guard is a boxing term for no longer defending oneself.
Opposed to the defensive castle term lower the gate (or portcullis) to thwart attack.

You can turn off sigs, so you don't see them. So your complaint only demonstrates further that you're extremely dumb.

You can also leave.

i dunno for me personally ive always avoided those pics/videos. maybe because its in large part due to my age but it is a national tragedy and i really dont wanna see people disrespecting the victims by posting the picture in a negative light. especially when their message is hate.

Click on your profile. On the left, there's a menu, click "edit profile" or "edit settings" or something, and go from there.

Easy peasy.

As a mod, cursing is the one thing I don't give a flying f*ck about. I only pay attention when two people are constantly calling each other curse word's every other word on a regular sports forum.

As for the 9-11 pic, I think we need to be constantly reminded of that horrible day. I think we as a nation are forgetting about 9-11 except for the anniversaries that happen once a year.

and thats fair however he doesnt do that. he uses that picture to bash a religion not to remind this country that we need to stay on guard

thats just my reasoning behind it

I don't agree with his point, or his delivery, but I'm mature enough to deal with it, just saying.
