Majority of USF penalties though were self inflicted.
A million false starts, illegal procedures and stupid personal foul penalties does not spell home cooking to me. It spells a lack of discipline.
7 false starts (generally not a controversial call unless defense caused it)
1 illegal shift (again not controversial)
1 substitution infraction (guy running off the field past our players. easy call)
2 face masks (questioning these?)
3 holds
2 PIs
1 personal foul
1 Unnecessary roughness
1 Unsportsmanlike
So at least 11 of those are pretty easy. Other than the 1 PI, I don't remember much about the rest of them.
UH's
Illegal block (7 yards 1/2 the distance) really about 23 yards since it was a kickoff return that wound up about the 30 yard line.
Intentional grounding (technically 0, but really about 15 yards since it is a spot foul, loss of down, and 10 seconds)
PI (11 yards)
Unsportsmanlike (15 yards)
So all of UH's penalties were major ones.
Other than the 1 offensive PI penalty, what was called on USF that you didn't think should be called? Other than the 1 offensive PI penalty on UH (uncatchable ball), what should have been called on UH that wasn't?
