I played in the secondary in high school, and have all my eligibility left. Never mind it was during the Reagan Administration.

Age might not be an issue, you could get burnt just as well as anybody on the roster, but I'm not sure about your eligibility.

Well, I certainly haven't used any of it and my grades were good.

Smaug may be the fastest 40+ year old guy I know. And he might even be good for a tackle a season.

Does the clock start when you have never played? Maybe the "5" doesn't start until the first year of actual play. How many years does that former Marine have left to play at MTSU?

I could be wrong, I have been many times before, but for some reason I thought as soon as you attended college for the first time that your clock started, even if you weren't playing a sport.

I've still got a pretty good set of wheels for a man of my advanced years. Sadly, I'm a little more brittle than I was at 19, so yeah, maybe good for one tackle.
