RE: Question about Miami and Al Golden
No, but he will probably leave if offered a high profile job. Seems to be a job chaser to me.

Is this bad, though?

To be offered a higher profile job, he had to have done a solid job where he is at now. He can only leave if offered.

I've never turned down a legit promotion, either.

If you're Miami and want to be a high profile job, yea, it's a very bad thing.

RE: Question about Miami and Al Golden
Al Golden is a job chaser, in the sense that he will follow the dollars... and there's not a thing wrong with that as long as that is not the only factor one considers. Been there and done that.

He was interested in the ECU job (he is good friends with Holland, our old AD) but we knew that he bolt the first chance he had.

I like the guy. From what I understand, he was not happy with Miami for not telling him everything... and he let them know it. I hope that he does leave. He'll do well wherever he goes.

I would not be surprised to see him take the Virginia job if it becomes available.

He's not going to switch to another ACC school. Big 10 will be his final stop IMHO, either PSU (where he played) or Rutgers (because he is a N Jersey boy).
