The Kick?
So, it looked like one of our OL kicked a wm player after a play in teh second half. Their crowd yelled about it, no flags, but probably should have been a 15 yarder, possible ejection if it was a kick. Anyone else see it. I had bad seats, only like 3 or 4 rows up and couldn't see whole field. That was a critical point in the game and was a huge mental breakdown, plus embarrasing to me.

It was pretty blatant. The zima drinking tribe fan a couple rows up from me almost had a heart attack yelling about the non-call. Oops!

That is inexcusable. My only question is was it our oline stud, Josh Wells?
As bad as our oline has played why not be proactive and just sit the kid out for the Villanova game. I don't think is could make the oline any worse.

Didn't see the kick, only the reaction. Would love to know who it was.

I honestly don't remember who it was, but it was an excellent kick.

I am not 100%, but the jersey number ended in 1 and I thought it was 61 or 51. I know that it was not 71 (Wells) as I know his number and made sure it wasn't him or AJ Scott. According to our roster 61 is a DE Norton, so my logical guess is that is was 51, Scott Jones (a Senior). Innocent until proven quilty.

The officials were right there; I kept expecting a flag. When it did not come I assumed that our player was simply trying to untangle himself or had tripped or something like that.

I did not see it. But I remember seeing some W&M fans going bananas in the wonderful end zone seats. Wait, maybe that was for the Tribal Dancers !

We saw it, and we were like WTF, then half relieved we saw no flag. Then we hoped that maybe it wasnt a kick as it appeared from 60 yards away and more of him wrestling his leg back from someone holding it. The wm player and crowd reaction indicated something else.

What happened between the 2 players in the preceding couple of seconds? Did the W&M player do anything to provoke it? Usually the retaliator is not the instigator, but the one who is seen/gets caught.

We were retaliating, for what I do not know... but was incredibly stupid by a senior... which only reinforces negative thoughts on this teams coaching and discipline.
