RE: Jordan Lynch NOT MAC Player of the Week
He does win it like every other week...
I totally agree he was deserving, but I was hoping TLL got it.
He had 100+ receiving yards, like 80 on the ground, and he threw a TD.

RE: Jordan Lynch NOT MAC Player of the Week
ESPN nominates him for AT&T player of the week on consecutive weekends but the MAC Conference doesn't think he was player of the week. That is why the MAC struggles to grow an audience. Promote the stars!!!! Need to make people like Dri Archer, Wedding, Lynch and others more common names.

Good point. I have never heard of Wedding.

That is not the reason why the MAC struggles to grow an audience...
Look, they know NIU is the top team right now, however, they have to spread the love.

No they don't. This is not little league baseball where they don't keep a score. If you are the best Offensive Player in the West or East, You should be named POW. If you want it, earn it.

LOL. You don't understand the bureaucracy of sports. You know how pissed people would be if they named Lynch POW every week. Other people deserve recognition as well.
Even though I agree his numbers warrant it, other players have big days as well. Let them have a day of MAC recognition, you know none of them outside of Lynch gets national love.
As for the last part of your statement, it's not that simple. There are only a handful of athletes that can just dominate at the drop of a hat. Even Lynch has off days. It also seems like your saying a kid that had 12 receptions and 2 TDs didn't earn it, that's a pretty damn good day.

A good day sure, but better than 6 TDs in a little over a half of a game of play? The last two weeks were the best of the season stat wise for Lynch. They were against a weaker opponents, so not as meaningful, but still better than a two TD receiver by comparison.
