A growing number of the president’s allies are worried about political fallout from glitches in the administration’s health insurance website.

Seven Senate Democrats want the White House to postpone parts of the law while contractors and the government work out kinks that have kept many consumers from signing up.

West Virginia Democrat Joe Manchin is co-sponsoring a bill to delay the $95 penalty for not enrolling.

Six other Democrats up for re-election next year are asking to postpone the March 31 enrollment deadline. They are Sens. Jeanne Shaheen of New Hampshire, Mark Udall of Colorado, Tom Udall of New Mexico, Mark Pryor of Arkansas, Mark Begich of Alaska and Kay Hagan of North Carolina.

It's not a $95 penalty - it's the greater if $95 or 1% of your income.

Like the democrats said, it's the law of the land and Obama and Reid have a history of refusing to negotiate, let them and the people who wrote this law live with the consequences - it's not like any of them didn't know we would have elections in 2014.

As far as the 7 Dems with the vests, let them blow themselves up for all I care.

Do people not do their own taxes any more? It's on the bottom of your return.

My 2014 penalty is over $700 (more than 1%)

My 2015 penalty is over $1500 (much more than 1%)


Interesting the Rush noted on his show today that the law is written so that if you don't have a tax refund, they can't touch you if you don't pay it.
